Privacy statement

How Certio handles personal data, and what this website does — and does not — do with your information.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here is Certio, IJzerenpoortkaai 3/81, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium (VAT BE0820.973.455). You can reach us at info@certio.be or +32 3 808 09 53.

2. What personal data we process and why

This website has no user accounts. We only receive personal data when you contact us — by email, by telephone, through the contact form on this site (which opens your own email client), or by registering your profile with us as a candidate.

  • Contact enquiries: your name, email address and the content of your message, used to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement.
  • Candidates: the details you share with us (for example your CV and contact details), used to assess your profile and match you with suitable roles. Legal basis: your consent or steps taken at your request; where we approach you directly, our legitimate interest in recruitment.
  • Client assignments: contact details of business contacts, used to perform and manage our services.

We do not sell personal data, and we share it only with parties involved in an assignment (for example a client company when you have agreed to be introduced) or with service providers acting on our behalf.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not store information in your browser. Fonts and images are served from our own site, so visiting it does not send your data to third parties.

Links to other services — careers.certio.be, LinkedIn, Indeed, WhatsApp and Google Maps — lead to websites run by those parties, which apply their own privacy and cookie policies once you open them.

4. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and in line with applicable legal retention requirements. You can ask us to delete your data, including your candidate profile, at any time.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@certio.be.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
