One of the main goals of the interview is to evaluate skills and make an objective assessment of a possible fit between the candidate, the vacancy and the employer. Once you’ve applied, following steps will be taken: An evaluation of a possible match between you as a candidate and the vacancy based upon your resume and motivation letter A preliminary interview by phone to check a possible match between you and a job opening If so, the next step will be an indepth personal interview to assess your motivation and skills. We will also give you detailed information about our customer and job (e.g. culture, job responsibilities, organization, ...) Our interview might be followed by a personality test To give you a head start for the interview, this is what our consultants might ask you: Describe a situation / moment where you were not totally satisfied with your performance. How did you react? Which kind of superior / supervisor you prefer to work with? Why? How do you determine priorities when you need to manage your time? Illustrate by giving a few examples? Why should we choose you as the ideal candidate for the job ... A job interview creates a first impression for both parties. It’s your opportunity to get on an employer’s good side. Following tips can help you prepare for a job interview: Research the company's profile and background Participate actively during the interview. It gives a good impression of your level of interest in the job. It's a good idea to come prepared with at least three questions to ask your interviewer Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Make sure you aren't speaking too slow or too fast and that your answers are stated with confidence Anticipate on questions from the interviewer. It’s best to be prepared for a wide variety of questions by thinking about your own career goals, long-term plans, past successes, and work strengths, but you should also brace yourself for deceptive questions Dress-for-work. As a rule of thumb, you should dress for the interview the way you would for the job itself Show up in the best possible shape. Bring an extra copy of your CV and/or references Be honest.
